From August 2017 — 2019 I managed the official California State University, Monterey Bay Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts. In that time I increased our engagement with a variety of posts that highlighted the amazing work and achievements of our students and alumni, honored our history, poked a bit of fun at our mascot, and showcased the beauty of campus life.

Located out by the beach on the old Fort Ord, CSUMB was the perfect spot to capture pictures of wild creatures and breathtaking sunsets. Inviting students and faculty to jump on hashtags (#CSUMBsunsets, #WildlifeWednesday) and share posts was an organic way to build our online community.

Grace Cathedral

As a content marketing manager in the early days of the pandemic, I helped reimagine church for an online audience and kept our community engaged and connected through Grace Cathedral’s various social media platforms by highlighting our social justice causes, collaborations with local artists, spotlighting community pets, and promoting live and virtual events.
